The story of our relationship is tragic,
I thought what happened between us was magic.
I have to except the fact that your not coming back,
But it's something that I lack.
I saw you with your new girlfriend,
And realized the problems with us, we can't mend.
I need to get over you,
But it's so hard to do.
I don't want to give up my chance,
For us to rekindle our romance.
But deep down inside,
Where my problems I like to hide.
I know that you and I won't work out,
But there is still that little doubt.
There will always be that moment that I see you,
And my heart will stop and I won't know what to do.
But then I will look away,
And try to make it through another day.
