I used to be the one who didn't cry
i used to have the answers to all questions why

i used to be the one that laughed away her pain
i used to chase away everyone's rain

i used to have an open mind
i was the one who's always kind

i used to pluck flowers and climb the highest trees
i used to help people and beat every disease

i used to have fun and still be good at school
i used to be myself and surprisingly enough that was cool

BUT

suddenly there were knives and bracelets
"fxckoff"s and "kiss my bxtt's

a boyfriend became important and just brought you down
what others think became the world and we all acted like some clown

society is messing with us, God must have his laugh up there
we're all puppets in a play 'cause foolishness is everywhere

there's discrimination, judging, violence and insult
everyone's playing the victim - it's never someone's fault

when will they see - life is just a game and we lost all the fun
so don't be sad or frustrated - don't hate, fight, hide or run

this is the only certainty we have ; you're born - you live - you die
don't start with questions of life - you'll never know how or why .
