Never There

by Kimmy8851   Aug 6, 2006

For as long as I can remember you have never been there,
Growing up I took care of myself and younger brother,
We never had any role model other then on T.V.
I always thought that I did something wrong,
But now i know that it wasn't me,
It was you, you weren't ready to get marred,
Yet alone have children.
All you wanted to do was party without a care in the world,
But look where that got you.
Your children don't want anything to do with you,
We are even ashamed to call you our mother.
I know this sounds really bad but its the truth,
Anyone who knows you will tell you,
That you have to clean up your act.
Maybe just maybe we will be in your life once again.
Now that I've grown I can truly say that I still love you,
That will never change but until the day you clean up,
I won't have anything to do with you.
