Return to Another Day

Looking out across the sea
she finally feels at home
stepping through the sand
just watching the waves foam

Several years she'd been searching
for a place to call her own
somewhere to escape from it all
where she could simply be alone

Taking in the smells around her
clean air, water, salt and brine
this place is truly heaven
the peace is simply divine

Listening to the waves roll in
slowly she turns away
to return to her life as normal
return to another day
