Love is real

Looking past the years
Of all of the crying and the pain
Past the endless tears I've cried
I realize now, all that I've gained

For the longest time
I had given up on love
I thought I'd never be happy again
And life was doomed to be so rough

Until the day I met him
All out of the blue
I had this feeling in my stomach
He has to be too good to be true

You wouldnt believe me if I told you
How much we are alike
We have so much in common
He makes my life so bright

To top all of it off
He loves my little girls
He didn't just accept me
He welcomed my daughters into his world
