To many places to begin

by Leah   Aug 7, 2006

Shall we set eyes on the storm clouds, shall we set eyes on the rain, shall we set eyes on the cheating lovers, who, neither one would take equal share of the blame.

We shall set eyes on the here after
of a girl who nobody knew,
if heaven and hell were divided
neither one could she stay true.

She'd sit in a place where the roses would cry, where the wind would blow kisses, to make her heart stone, yet no matter what angle she looked upon, she'd forever be the girl who weeps alone.

Her weepings could not altar
could not altar anything near or far
forgive me for stirring harsh memories, but you can't see her tears from afar.

I was living inside of this lonesome girl, and I was this girls only friend,
except I was this girls agony and pain, and oh how she longed for the end.

I was this girls heart
bloody and red
I was this girls unacomplished dream, even if she closed her eyes, she'd still have tears left to shed, I lived in the core of her scream.

I use to be in love with her laughter
but now I only hear whimpering at night, I use to remember her smile,
but now, where has it gone from my sight?

And now all I hear is the course of the rain, penatrating down her face and eyes, her tears are the captars of fatal wounds, reminding us of demise.

She's killing herself from the outside, torturing herself from within, and I can't even voice all her pain, when theres so many places for me to begin.

And shes lying in bed dying
for death is a butterfly
and she has yet to see the world
and fulfil all the places she has yet to cry.

She's laying on the floor puking
trying to puke up her heart and soul, for she doesn't need them anyway, since she'll never again be a whole.

Shes crying through dripping mascara, in the patter of the rain and the twilight, nothing will be the same, but her physical body will ignite.

She's killing herself from the outside, torturing herself from within, and I can't even voice all her pain, when theres so many places for me to begin.
