I Love You Luke

Luke you were incredible
at everything you did
you set your mind on the prize
you followed through your goals

your dreams and aspirations
determination and ambition
made you see anything through
if thats what you wanted to do

your bike was always first
even i took second to that
it was your token item
you loved it more than me

its now been two years since i met you
2 years since our first date
we were together for a year and 11 months,
2 weeks, 4 days, 10 hours and 27 minutes
but hey...whose counting right?

just seeing you in that ambulance
sheet over your face
i was screaming out for you
my heart began to race

its been one week since your death
and we still haven't broken up
Luke i just can't say it
you and me, we can't be over

life's greatest thing is love
and the one i love is gone
as far as I'm concerned
I now have nothing left

your funeral was the hardest
the realization that hit
just knowing theres no going back
everything we had is gone

my favorite memory of us
is when we had to babysit
we watched the Nutcracker twice
jasmine, she just loved it!

Luke your in my prayers
every single night
and to you i will make one promise
i will never touch another motorbike!
