Proving his love to me

In my life, I want you,
And I need you.
I need you to make me smile,
Just like you used too.

I can't let our relationship pause,
Because I know you love me.
But you have to listen to me,
Even though it might sound crazy.

I love you more than anything,
My feelings for you only grew.
Way down the road,
I picture only me and you.

Every fight we ever got into,
And every time we said good night.
I would stay awake in my bed,
And hold my pillow tight.

I would think about your smile,
And the way you laughed.
Hoping that you didn't think,
That our love was in the past.

Every time you got angry,
And every time we fought.
You were the one I thought about,
Whether you believe it or not.

You're the girl I need,
And I need you to want me.
I don't want what we have to end,
Why cant you just let our love be.

I don't know what I'll do now,
Because you're questioning my love.
The way you put it is,
That I don't love you enough.

Are you trying to say that,
We don't love each other?
Because I want you to believe me,
That there will never be another.

I would leave for months,
And come back loving you the same way,
My feelings are only growing stronger,
Cutie, they will never change.
