Your Soulmate's a Wh0re

by Jeffrey   Aug 7, 2006

Dear lover
something you should have known
staying true to you was exhausting
I've succumb to temptations shown
in the nightlife of Boston

sorry to interrupt this fairy tale
in which you feel loved, and I feel chained
but the taste on your lips grew stale
and my adventurous soul
can no longer be restrained

you fell from the pedestal I placed you on
discovered some doubt in my devotion
how far could we have gone
with so many fish in the sea
and me exploring the ocean

terrified of having just one chance
at a world I need to explore
how can I be bound to romance
when in my core,
I'm designed like a wh0re

Um. The things with this poem is. I saw the depth, the emotion, the heart. But. It didn't keep me reading. I had to make myself do so. I don't know how to advise you on that.
