Wave Grows

by wdnest   Aug 8, 2006

My hand dips at the waters edge
A slight ripple fades to its ledge
I see it go sending forward my wish
Healing thoughts; we will accomplish

The ripple continues on,
From the beach,
It passes an island
Moving forward; out of reach

It follows the shore
Goes around the bay
It sees the sunlight
Of a better today

Around the reef
It follows still
It makes a wave
With its growth and fill

Pass the seagulls,
A school of fins
By the shelter
Of an underwater cave begins

It grows and grows
And reaches your shore,
A tidal wave
Knocking loudly at your door

Saying I am here when you need to call
On the end of the phone when you do fall

Please call I am forever here
Wanting to help you, with your deepest fears.

Next time when you are alone
Please pick up and dial my phone
No need to suffer silence now
I will know what to say, it is my vow.
