Prisoner of Hate

by enfant du tordu chagrin   Aug 8, 2006

Have you ever been a prisoner of that all consuming hate?
That drives and punishes so strong, it seems it must be fate?
Hating with every particle, loathing with boiling blood
Needing to destroy them and drag them through the mud

No need for a reason, though they are not few
Re-igniting memories, causing pain anew
A raging torrent of anger, coursing deep within
Red-hot piercing rage, bubbling beneath the skin

Your day feels like it's ruined, mood takes a steep dive
Just from the moment's act, of seeing them alive
So truly, all of these feelings, so intense they MUST be fate
Leave you unconcerned that you're trapped, a prisoner of hate
