Life

by Electric Monkey   Aug 8, 2006

I look back at my life,
At what it was before,
Full of such misery pain and strife;
Never knowing what was in store

Until one day I heard about Jesus,
And what He did on Calvary;
Buying my pardon oh, thank you, Jesus,
Ending my pain strife and misery

Sometimes it's hard to walk this road.
The world allures me. (tempted to sin)
Carrying a burden, such a heavy load.
But every time I wander, Something brings me back to Him.

He gives me wisdom if I but ask it,
Happy to give to anyone who lacks.
I know that with Him I can make it;
He'll give me grace forever to last.

Heaven awaits now for me.
A mansion is mine; it's waiting up there
Somewhere in Heaven's wonderful glory,
Where never is pain misery or fear.
