Simply perfect

by Iola   Aug 8, 2006

A simple face, two simple eyes,
The perfect mask, an innocent disguise.
Shining hair and sparkling lips,
A pearly cover for swaying hips?

An honorable bow, a pat on the back,
A silky smile to cover what we lack.
Perfect lashes, but bloody thoughts,
A shiny future, but a past that haunts.

A flowery garden, a golden front door,
Thankful gestures but a heart that needs more.
Sparkling laughter and bursting bubbles,
Consciously flowing but a mind that see troubles.

Showbiz and shackles, moonlight and space,
Blue eyes and brackets, someone's mis-figured face.
Perfectly suited for puppetry and show,
Taking part in this game that most of us know.
