Defenseless, Unprepared~*~

Here without you now
Without you in my life
Getting through it slowly
Not resorting to a knife

I know it was for a reason
And in some odd sense way
It was for the better, helping me
Yet my heart was the one to pay

Ripped and torn in two
So defenseless and unprepared
Changing my life, so suddenly
Because you couldnt just.. be there

I'm working myself slowly
Through this hell I've been put in
Remembering what we used to have
And how now, i just cant win

Win over your heart again
That will never reaccure
Things will never go back again
To us, and what we were

Things will never be the same
Between the two of us,
But theres no point in remembering
Of what everything WAS..

I cant go back and fix my mistakes
You cant change the past
So when faced with a desicion
You have to make life altering choices fast

Desicions made, good or bad
You have to face what ill come next
Getting through what youve made your fate
Youll have to deal with & get over the rest

So my.. choices that i though were right
Have left me standing here, alone
And now dealing with the fact that your not coming back
With my regrettable past, ..... known..
