You and i thought we'd
be together forever
when we were little we had
no care in the world
but when the clock struck

it all changed you went away
and i stayed
you left me here all
alone
in the cold without you
you were my sun
you were my shield
when i needed help you were
there to care
no matter what time
of day or night
you would listen
but when the clock struck

you were gone
i know you didn't like
your life
so you turned to drugs
and suicide
you tried and tried
to end your life
because all you remembered
was the bad
but did you ever try
to remember the good
all those hot summer days
and cold winter nights
as kids
no you didn't
now they are
washed away
by a sea of regret
now you are gone
and i am here
wishing for you to come
