I Walked Through The Land of Serenity

by Lionheart   Aug 9, 2006

I walked through the land of serenity,
Under heavens sky forever new,
I faced the rolling fields before me,
Blushing with God's golden hue.

I saw pink peddles dancing with glee,
Carried on a chilled breeze so far,
Fragrant aromas sang tranquility,
As Love's psalms travels to and afar.

I smiled as they serenaded of thee,
Singing of your peaceful blue eyes,
Just then an angel whispered to me,
That God had you and me in mind.

I could feel the warmth of your hug,
And recalled the comfort of your kiss,
I then realized that this is really love,
And the thing I never want to miss.

Amanda, in our passing course of time,
Love is life's beautiful gift indeed,
I will always remember how much I cried,
As I walked through the land of serenity.
