My One And Only

You used to be my one and only,
Until god took you away from me,
We used to be so inseparable,
My heart remains locked, for you have the key.

I still don't know how I make it through without you,
It seems positvely impossible,
But somehow its true, I'm making it through,
We are now apart and nothing can change that.

I've been thinking about dying lately,
Release all the pain I go through,
I can barely talk, only faintly,
I can't stand to be without you.

I'm not sure if I believe in heaven,
But I hope it is actually there,
I want to be with you now,
So that is why I care.

I guess it's too late now,
For that was your fait,
You had to get cancer,
And leave me without me mate.
