She, Self Destruction

by Elissa morris   Aug 10, 2006

"Its a shame" she said,
With her eyes looking one way,
But focused in another.
She knew it wasn't the right time,
But she argued was it ever?
There was never a right time,
For things to go wrong.

So with her hand holding control,
She waved a magic wand,
And watched everything fall apart.
She didn't think of the consequence,
For she knows there is loss either way.
If you find a situation where everybody wins,
I'd like you to tell me some day.

Consequence is different from outcome,
And the reaction of other people,
Can never be measured.
With this in mind would you take action?
Against people at your leisure.
The rhyme here reflects a pattern,
She knew she had to fit into.

If you lose faith in love and she did,
Watching the world tear itself to pieces,
She felt helpless to stop it.
As it tore itself apart and took her with it.
