When you drive somewhere,
do you have your hand on door latch?
Do you think about opening the door and jumping out of the moving vehicle?
When you walk across a bridge,
do you look at whatever is below?
Do you think about slipping over the railing?
When you're in the kitchen,
do you hold the knife and stare at it?
Do you think about stabbing yourself in the gut?
When you accidently break something,
do you look at the broken pieces?
Do you think about using them to bring blood to your wrists and arms?
When you go up a flight of stairs,
do you stop on the middle stair?
Do you think how easy it would be to miss the next step?
When you take a shower,
do you stand there as the water hits you?
Do you think about slipping and hitting your head a little to hard?
When you go to sleep,
do you lay in bed and look at the sleeping pills?
Do you think about taking one to many and not waking up?
When you stand on a roof or up in a tree,
do you look down and want to fly?
Do you think about how long it would take for you to lose your wings?
When I go through my day,
I notice how something in my everyday life can make me think things.
Things that I shouldn't be thinking.
Do you do what I do?
