Bent

by Wings Of Flames   Aug 10, 2006

Ignoring the coupled stars,
With the glassed eyes bleached,
There hearts black and dead,
Every wound holy preached,

Staring at the singularity,
And the presence of anew,
Laughing, mocking beings,
And this hole only grew,

I do not love I wish not,
I gallop into the mist,
Thundering hooves and leather,
Clenched between each fist,

Slices taken form my mind,
Memories lost forever more,
I will go blind not to watch,
To fly I'll never soar,

Over the cliff and upon the rocks,
I'll only fly tonight,
Over the pain and sorrow,
Into the spirit's light.

    There hearts black and dead,

[ I think that should be "their" if I'm not mistaken. ]

Again, you've got a great ending in this piece, I'm usually not that good at making great endings, they always seem to drag on. But you're great at it. Keep it up!
