Challenger

by Nia Warfeld   Aug 10, 2006

Looking at me with curious eyes, I stare back in surprise.

Secretly searching for my skills in which I will not show at my own will.

Only on the track will they see, the real me

I see myself sprinting along the bright red gravel, It's my fastest way to travel

Nothing in my way, No fee I have to pay

As I see the crowd stir, I turn and face my challenger.
