Forever in your hands

by Deana   Aug 11, 2006

Words on the pages flow
But still the realness hides behind abstract phrases
A poets heart longing to break free
To speak to someone who will listen
To my eyes , my heart , but never me

Someone that can hear a truer thought
That knows without ever having sought
Two hearts connected
Joined by a bond of understanding

Believing in their ability
To read between my words
Who sees beyond the smile, the hurt

Some words will forever be unspoken
A heart forever broken
A dream never lived
A gift to never give
A silent understanding, forever in your hands.
