Heavenly Perception

by Michael D Nalley   Aug 11, 2006

Most times we can't hear that light
Hiding in the silence of the night
If we could not see the air
Would we believe it is not there?

An entity is sometimes perceived
When a new life is conceived
Hearts swell and spirits soar
Mindful of something more

In the wind we are the dust
Blowing across the earths crust
Here today, gone tomorrow
Buried in the sands of sorrow

Sorrow, can it be joy in disguise?
When it rains, the dark sky cries
The fruits on earth are not cursed
By the tears that quench our thirst
