Clones

by Tasha   Aug 11, 2006

When you look in the mirror what do you see?
A lifeless, emotionless, depressed look to be.
I see the years of torture trapped in their eyes.
The sound in their words shows no surprise.
It's as if the world is pressing on by.
No time for a smile, no time for a cry.
The millions of faces with no emotion at all.
They only answer to paging or call.
They just look a head no direction to follow.
To many chocked down tears that I try to swallow.
If they just keep on going their lives will be lost.
Not enough money, to much the cost.
They are like clones, aline to assemble.
All the blank faces begin to reassemble.
I sit here watching them all from a view.
And I wonder, am I like them too? -
