A story with no end,
A tear without the cry,
A prayer that will not send,

A death without the sorrow,
A hope without the thought,
A dream without tomorrow,
A life that can't be bought,

A love without the heart,
A day without the dawn,
A journey without a start,
A picture that can't be drawn,

An injury without the healing,
A wall without the door,
A theft without the stealing,
A fight without a war,

A heart without the breaks,
An ocean without the water,
Actions without the stakes,
Malice without the slaughter,

A night without the stars,
A speech without the voice,
A jail without it's bars,
A mind that has no choice.

This is a depiction of what we are living,
This is the life in which we take part,
These are the words that keep on giving,
These are the words that come from a heart.
