Fallen Angel (Part 3)

I hadn't done it,
I lost hope.
I just quit.
I couldn't cope.

I couldn't handle the pain.
The sadness I held inside.
I always caused it to rain,
Whenever I cried.

I flooded the land,
I flooded the sea.
None of it was planned.
He was my key.

My mission I failed,
My heart was broken.
Our love was unveiled,
And I was outspoken.

I had broken a law.
So I tried to hide.
It was an angels flaw.
Human love was denied.

Angels and humans do not connect.
They never are to fall in love.
Angels are to only protect.

So they took my wings,
And sent me to the ground.
Where the blue bird sings,
A sad playing sound.

I still hear him in the wind.
I see him in the trees.
I think I'm losing my mind,
When I feel his touch in the breeze.

My true love is still with me.
For he is my archangel.
God had heard the plea,
From his fallen angel.
