Lost

by SeppensAngel   Aug 11, 2006

Sitting in my room
Waiting for the rain to fall
The thunder loudly booms
As I stare at my plain wall

It matches how I feel
Just so white and plain
I wish I could just be real
Without having to hide all my pain.

The rain is coming down hard
As I step into the great outdoors
I silently walk across my yard
As the rain continues its steady downpour.

Through the woods I walk along
My clothes now dripping wet
My heart singing a sorrowful song
As I wonder how far I'll get

How far before I am too tired to go on?
How far before I trip and fall?
How far before I no longer have to run?
How far before I can hear your call?

The rain clears, the thunder stops
I look around, I fall to my knees
Tears fill my eyes as I realize, I am lost.
I cry,"Oh God, Help me! Please!"

I've run to far, I'm out of control
I don't know where to go
I'm alone without, a single soul.
What to do, I do not know.

I'm completely lost
Outside and In
I'm paying the cost
With no way to win.
