I woke up with a sadness I can't seem to overcome, over a fight that we started that should never have begun

I woke up with tears forming in my eyes, knowing to let you go cause I'm tired of the lies

I woke up and looked to the side of my bed, and remembered the good times we had and everything we said

I woke up and layed a kiss upon your cheek, you opened up your eyes but I left before you could speak
