Just Tired

by Samey   Aug 12, 2006

Tired just sitting here,
Need to loose it all again,
To feel alive within somehow,
But cuts don't bleed now,
They've run dry so soon,
Tired of not wanting to be home,
Hugs don't mean anything,
A simple act in a play so cruel,
Words fall flat to the floor,
Broken promises and crushed dreams,
Tired of being a plastic person,
Dolls can keep their world,
Wrapped up with everything perfect,
But nothings ever perfect,
At least in this nightmare,
Tired of breathing a lie,
Being the one smudge on your life,
That never goes away,
Always the mistake and never the promise,
A promise of something to come,
Just tired from the inside,
Lay me to rest while you can,
Can't hold on much longer,
Everything weighs down my soul,
Just tired,
Can't think,
Just tired,
Can't breathe,
Just tired,
Can't see,
Just sleep.

Hey buddy... once again, another awesome poem... but I worry for you *hugs* tough it out for another year or so and you'll be free man... you won't have to deal with any of that anymore, you can just live the way you want and have that weight lifted... the worries will be a thing of the past and you'll be able to breathe fresh life into yourself! *hugs again* I'm always here for you, my cell is always on, you know where I live, my door is always open to you any time of the day or night :-) just hold in there... sooner or later you'll get all the good stuff you deserve!
