Wake him up. Shake him. Remind him that he is nothing without You! Lord bring Nate back to You. Break him down. Strip away all that is good in his life. Force him to rely fully on you once again. Oh Lord it bothers me so much to see him walk further and further away from You. Grab him and shake him. Don't be gentle with him. I'm afraid he won't respond. Maybe I'm not the best person to make this desperate plea Lord but you know I love Nate. He's truly a big brother to me. Use me anyway you want to bring Nate back to You. Lord please, he is my Earthly rock, although he may not always know it.
But before you break him Lord, I ask you to shatter me. I feel as if whenever You try to break me I run the other way because I don't want to face it. But I need to learn that You are so much bigger than anything I could imagine. Shatter me into thousands of tiny shards.
