Little red...

by broken reflection   Aug 12, 2006

"Little Red Riding Hood,
Don't go out into the wood",
"But I must dear friend,
I have important news to send"...

Little Red wanders,
Grandma's house is just a yonder,
'My, my such a winding path' she thinks,
Then her stomach begins to sink...

'My intuition tells me not to continue',
Then why did she still pursue?
'I must deliver this news,
This knowledge my family cannot afford to loose!'

Little Red trips,
Blood from her knees begin to drip.
'Almost there',
The woods, she could no longer bare...

"Grandma, Grandma I have important news..."
She throws open the gate,
Slipping off, one of her shoes,
Her next step decided and ended her fate...

The step through Grandma's door,
Her basket hits the floor,
As she stares at the mouth wide open,
And well you get the idea what happens then!

That letter never was read
By dear old Grandma,
But one thing is certain,
That, on that day a lonely Wolf was fed.
