Graffitied Hearts

by Robiie   Aug 12, 2006

Dark girl, suppressed from her smile,
Pictures of black and grey filled her eyes,
Mascara always running down her cheeks,
Lipstick smudged from his kisses,
He slept in her bed,
She let him in to her heart,
Unlocked her chains,
Her head was no longer consistently filled with suicide,
Softly he denied to graffiti his name on her heart,
Although he said he wanted to,
Time went on as she respected his choice,
Relapse after relapse the colour he had brought in faded from her eyes,
Then she found,
He had graffitied someone else's heart,
Hers was not acceptable to his name,
Her heart fell from where it was beating,
Fell to the bottom of his shoe,
All the hope she had sent out crashed,
Thoughts of black acts and grey smiles flooded back,
For she is a victim of him,
Playing with her,
Like a puppet on a string,
A testosterone release,
A single black tear falls into her memories,
For that is all he will ever be
