Just A Dream

He's all I've been waiting for,
All I've wanted to adore.
It's those blue eyes so deep,
That keep me entranced as I sleep.

The trusting smile you bear,
After everything you've despaired,
Gives me hope beyond belief of yours,
And makes me want to end these wars.

Alas, I know we will not come to be,
As I have recently come to see,
Because there really is no you.
You came from out of the blue.

You're nothing but a good dream,
Nothing like I have ever seen.
I'll see your smile beam,
Only in a distant dream.

**Shorter than a lot of my other poems, I know, but it was sort of random and I just started to write and it flowed from my pen to the paper. I really would like to know what you guys think =) **
