Dark Reminder

Pale fingers tremble upon the Grey stone.
Lightly tracing their lines over the encrypted words.
Silver tears fall upon the cold snow covered ground.
A dead rose now being placed neatly to rest on the cold earth.

Harboring silver tears into the snow, and laying this rose by this stone.
My heart tears to shambles, and now that this stone services as a dark reminder.
My soul may as be empty, and never replenish of this dark emptiness.

Lingering fog hazed breathes stay with held in the cold icy air.
Rising to my feet seems nearly impossible to accomplish.
I stumble, not wanting to fall, upon this dark reminder of you.
Tears yet again splash onto the stone only to freeze in mid-air

These tears seems to hit your stone, and shatter.
As the wind pulls my hair across my pale face, and this emptiness feeling so close.
Pains so unbearable, and these tears so crushing.
Empty spaces between my fingers where your hand once sat, and now so cold without a touch.

I bravely turn my back, clenching something within my hidden hand.
My feet moving freely away from your stone, tears frozen in my eyes.
Unable to break free yet again, to relinquish upon your darkened reminder.
Nothing of my existent being left behind, only tiny footprints imprinted in the snow.

These footprint the same as the ones you left in my heart, that seem so useless now.
My heart turning black without your hand to hold it close.
With tears freezing to my eyes, and this is my heart's sworing good-bye.
