Sonnet on Marriage

When I look at you, the love of my life,
I feel so proud to call you my wife.
Though we go through times of strife,
I am still amazed you would be my wife.
Even when our children are gone away,
You'll never leave me; you want to stay.
I know you love me in every way.
When we go through times of pain,
And our marriage seems to take the strain;
You come back again and again,
Making your love to me so plain.
I still cannot believe you are here,
Through every sickness, pain, or fear.
