The Mirror

by Alexis Frank   Aug 12, 2006

Why must we disappear
when we look in the mirror?
The reflection is so slighted
will the society ever be righted?

The pressure to not be seen
is pushed by the mean.
Those who cannot comply
are always pushed aside.

The mirror often lies,
so that even beauty cries.
Shall we ever be complete,
when the reflection can't be seen?

    Is pushed by the mean.
((Um... No. Just a horrible sentence))
    The mirror often lies,
    so that even beauty cries
    ((Very Nice...))

I really liked this... Something about the poem really gets to me I'm just not sure why or what... Great write.
