I hated letting go of you

by Jeff   Aug 13, 2006

You layed on our bed two nights before you passed on,
You told me that it was time that I moved on with my life that you were sick of watching me grieve over you.

I didn't want to let you go,
now here I am at your headstone telling you how I hated letting go of you.

You are always in my heart and your the only one who will ever share my bed.

I hated letting go of you.

*I wrote this right after I lost my wife*
