Close your eyes and see perfect
For thats what you are to me
Beautiful words lace my pain
And describe what you want me to be

Sparkling butterflies race down my cheeks
I turn and wait but your not there
Silver beauties call for crimson
In denial, you're not aware

Sunrise secrets call your name
But you choose not to listen
Depressing state of mind takes over
As rosy marks on my wrist glisten

Morning glory brings your face to mind
You brush me off again
Starry eyes are raining once more
Lovely pretending hides my pain

Glorified words cover my impurities
To save you from witnessing what not having you has caused
These words are perfect and I am not
But ill never let you see my flaws
