Anorexic love

by Iola   Aug 13, 2006

Anomalies evident within my brain,
Neurons badly distorted by pain.
Imbalances caused by wrongful choice,
Red flags pointed out by noise.

Tumors preventing growth inside,
Motion stubornly hindered by pride.
Muscle stiffness makes it difficult to reach,
Blatantly poisened by a dangerous bleach.

Neck unable to turn around,
Black emotions without making a sound.
Thorns and spikes that scratch my cells,
Eternal sleep cause by these spells.

Outer skin looks greyish pale,
Bad news from the bathroom scale.
Sickning weakness from my knees,
Forever dragged down by self-inflicted disease.

Is love you idea of how another should behave?
\"Loose weight my love, and remember to shave\".
Are you placing your beloved in your silly mold?
Pulling out her soul, \'till the day she grows old ...

*For all the lovers out there who have a scew idea of love and try to change those they love to fit their idea of perfect.

Great poem.. I love the message You were putting across.. If You are truely in love, there is no need to change the person, because they are already perfect! .. lovely and well written 5/5 xx
