Please, Lie

by Carlee Ann   Aug 14, 2006

The sun is fading fast now
Disappearing from the sky
If the truth is you don't love me
Then can you please lie?

I can't say why it is
But in the depths of blue
The changing, rolling tides
Remind me just of you

The foam from the sea
Steals sand from the bay
And I am reminded
Of how you take my breath away

I breathe in the salty air
And the scent leaves me wanting more
Lusting for another breath
And what am I waiting for?

The water covers my skin
The waves forever breaking
Just like your touch
That always leaves me shaking

The waves call out to me
And I don't know what to do
Why is it when I see the ocean
I can only think of you?
