Demon Child

by Slowly I Disappear   Aug 15, 2006

It's so hard to see
Truth between the lies
When your looking through
Her tear dried eyes

With running make-up
They know she's in pain
And they know that it's terrible
How she's going insane

But she wouldn't be this demon
She sees within her mirror
If she had some feeling
But it seems it was never there

Lost to all feeling
Every emotion you could guess
It's left this girl a demon
And a wreck none the less

Trust me if you saw her
And you heard all the lies
If you could see all the tears
That left her lonely eyes

You might know what she's like
And think you know how it feels
To be a hopeless wreck
Who prays for her wounds to someday heal

But I do know poor demon child
In the mirror your all I see
Your my life's reflection
That lonely demon girl is me.
