My World

As I lay in my bed I find myself pondering the future,
Not about world problems
Not about our nations problems
Not about my neighbors problems
I think about my own problems

I think about the past,
And how it is affecting my present
I wonder if I can ever get over you
Just being friends isn't enough for me
I hope that I can get over you

I wonder what the future has in store for me
I wonder if you will ever love me again

The future is somewhere I want to be, but never can be
I want to know what will happen with us,
But most of all I want to know why with all the problems going on in the world,
Why I just cant get my mind off you?
