I'll try and put her aside,

when i say forever,
she takes it as words
and believes I'm just being bold
rounding the corner of time
and turning the bend
i wish her to look me in the eyes
and know me as more than a friend
when touched she breathes life
into this empty shell
sometimes i pushed,
sometimes i withdrew,
...but without focus
i tripped, stumbled, and fell
turning words into reality,
building trust,
