Missing From The Picture

Staring softly at the family picture
Glittery tears form in tender eyes
Slowly running down pale cheeks
On that dark night she silently cries..

The brother she once loved is gone
His gentle smile no longer glows
Now lying peacefully underground
Clutching but a single ruby rose..

Absent from this sparkly picture
The love left so empty, so alone
A jigsaw puzzle missing a piece
A king without a golden throne..

Their connection of love was broken
Locked up hastily and hidden was the key
Over the years it has slowly repaired itself
And brother and sister they will always be..

    ...its beautiful... I lost 5 of my best friends in a car crash lastyear and they were all so close to me like family, i mean litteraly we have drow up on the same street since we werelike 5 and been best friends untill such time, and then they all were gone, all at one time... one of witch was a mother, and its so hard to loose friends, i know... and in this case or atleast as the poem goes a brother... so yeah, this one really connected to me, and i think it is beautioful... do nto stop writeing...

    Im so speachless.
    I don't even have a favorite line or stanza because to me the whole poem was brilliant. And every single word just made it flow and fit together so wonderfully.

    I loved it.
    I wish i could write something this good.
