A bright glimmer of hope
already shining through
through tears and grieving
and it shines just for you
whatever your heart aches
pain, sadness, or tears
this hope brings sunshine
to follow all those fears
just as the sunshine's after raging storm
as the sea beats the shore
until its battered and worn
life ever goes on and all hurt
surely fades with time
maybe not right tomorrow
but soon all will be fine
