Something unreal

I stroll along to the place i call home
when i open the door
and scream to my highest tone
to see my mom dead on the floor

my life had just shattered into pieces
for the one person who had given me life had left
she was all i needed
without her i was a mess

i frantically looked through the place
to find the person who had done this
but they've gone without a trace
i ball my hands into fists

why have you chosen this life
bring her back to me
or I'll end mine with this knife
set her free

suddenly everything disappears
and i awake in my bed
but then everything seemed clear
that my mom wasn't dead
