Unwoven

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Aug 15, 2006

You left me
filled with pain
To the point of
breaking down
each night
To the edge
of a place
I no longer
wished to see
I am unwoven,
all undone
Because of
Your leaving me
but it's fine
I was too tight
Too wrapped up
With my heart
compressed
So it no longer
could beat
It became brittle
And broke
when you
embraced it
And now
all I am is
Unwoven
Torn apart
But I am free
And I enjoy it
For I would rather
be unwoven
Then tied down
By the likes
Of you
And my tears
That come with it
For you
Afftected me
But now I am free
Since you left
I have been
Myself again
For I am
Unwoven
