The sun in the sky always appears to look the same,
but it looks dimmer to me.
The grass in the park appears to still look tame,
but to me it's just a big mess.
I walk along the streets listening to the car horns,
but they are only noise.
I try to call and e-mail you,
but I'm only using toys.
I need to see you before I snap.
Because right now, I feel like I'm stuck in a trap.
I sit here on my bed, sitting by the phone.
I'm waiting to hear your voice,
so I don't feel alone.
I really need a hug,
because I've had a miserable week.
I need to be in your reassuring arms,
that warmth is what I seek.
I miss you a lot and I'm not afraid to let you know.
Because I'm not afraid to let my emotions show.
I might just be over reacting,
because it feels like your gone.
But you might just be missing me,
just as much as I'm missing you.
