Judge From The Cover

by cazy001   Aug 16, 2006

You judge me from the cover, don't you?

You take me exactly how people think I am.

You 've read me through my blogs, haven't you?

And then assume you can tell who I am.

You judge me from the cover, don't you?

Name me from the music I'm listening to.

You've seen me through my words , haven't you?

and think that you know my true colour too?

You judge me from the cover , don't you?

You call me from the clothes I wear.

You 've painted me with that shade you believe,

en' splash the brush all over me anywhere.

You judge me from the cover, don't you?

without a chance to hear my soul.

You have placed me right in the far corner,

just because you think I'm no better?

You judge me from the cover , don't you?

Such a deceitful smile I have , you say.

You have your heart for the others,

just because my scary cover is there?

I don't judge and I don't know how to.

That's how I come walk right next to you.

T0 get to know and experience every precious second,

with my heart then I'll see how you truly are just once.

Are you still judging me from the cover,

taking all the rumors from the others?

Would you listen to me with your heart?

Then go back reading me from the start?
