No cure for her madness

by Kat   Aug 17, 2006

Stop, look at what you've become,
look how much you've changed, how could you be so dumb?
Look what you got yourself into,
this is a mess I fear you won't get through.
What are you doing? What happened to you?
look at this hell your putting yourself through.
Day after day you do the same stuff,
day after day you tell yourself it's not enough.
It's not enough to keep you going on,
it's not enough to make you seem strong.
A tear falls from the eye of a friend who cares,
but do they know of the pain she bares?
They only see the monster forming on the outside,
but they do not know of the emotions hidden on the inside.
They see her drifting away,
the unspoken words she'll never say.
She can't find her way, she's lost,
how will she find her way, what will be the cost?
She's already way off track,
and she's so confident she won't find her way back.
In every way now she's falling apart,
the gap is widening in the depths of her cold heart.
In her eyes all she sees is sadness,
is there no cure for her madness?

This is honestly, the best poem i have read all night. I have never related to a poem so much in my life. I feel like the girl with no cure. Wow.. This is absolutely amazing! There was good flow, strong emotion, and I just think it was great..
